Strange in that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>Example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">CCR1016-12S-1S+: SFP+1 interface works only in 10G link rates.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">CCR1032-8G-2S+: both SFP+ interfaces can work in 10G and 1G link rates.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">CRS226: SFP+1 interface can work both with 10G and 1G link rates, but SFP+2 is\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">locked to 10G link rate.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">These restrictions come due to certain hardware design limitations according to Krisjanis, a MikroTik engineer. \u00a0Here is a chart that covers a few of these combinations and capabilities:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/stevedischer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Screen-Shot-2015-07-14-at-2.59.16-PM.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-829 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/stevedischer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Screen-Shot-2015-07-14-at-2.59.16-PM.png\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 917px) 100vw, 917px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/stevedischer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Screen-Shot-2015-07-14-at-2.59.16-PM-300x163.png 300w, http:\/\/stevedischer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Screen-Shot-2015-07-14-at-2.59.16-PM.png 917w\" alt=\"MikroTik SFP and SFP+ Link Issues\" width=\"917\" height=\"499\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>NOTES:<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><b>CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+<\/b> \u2014 SFP+1 interface does not support rj45 SFP modules.
